SwapArt, A Curated Exchange for Art, Design & Collectible Objects

Why SwapArt Matters in Amsterdam

In a city as rich in art and culture as Amsterdam, it's essential to explore new ways to share creativity. SwapArt presents a unique opportunity not only to explore art and design but also to be part of a community that values the circulation of objects. The idea of exchanging something you no longer need for something that inspires you is a fantastic way to embrace local culture.

What to Expect

SwapArt is a curated exchange event where art, design, and collectible objects find new stories and new owners. Join us on October 9 at Studio Ahrt for an evening of discovery, conversation, and exchange. Bring a piece you’re ready to let go of, explore the objects brought by others, meet their owners, and discover what you might take home with you. Objects can be exchanged directly, combined with a price difference, or purchased if both parties agree. This event is open to everyone, collectors, artists, designers, or simply those curious about art and design.

Practical Tips

Make sure to arrive early. Space is limited, and it’s best to secure your spot. Located on the Lauriergracht, Studio Ahrt is the perfect place to combine your visit with a stroll through Amsterdam's picturesque canals. Explore the surroundings and soak in the unique atmosphere before participating in SwapArt.
