You set off from Beursplein, beside the Beurs van Berlage, and follow a route that runs along the Damrak towards the Oude Kerk and the Royal Palace on the Dam. Every stop comes with something to work out, and with facts and stories about the place you are standing in.
The game suits couples, families, groups of friends and colleagues, and it works just as well on your own. A team of up to four people plays together on one device, so a larger group splits into several teams and compares notes afterwards. Nobody walks ahead of you as a guide and there is no fixed start time, so you can wait out a shower in a cafe near the Damrak and carry on afterwards.

Correct answers earn points and extra clues for the puzzle that closes the game.
